The WordPress Trac discussion regarding Browse Happy has got to be the second most pointless discussion I’ve seen in a while (the dual licensing of the Linux kernel on the lkml takes the title as the most pointless discussion). Create a plugin to prevent Browse Happy from appearing. There. Done. WordPress developers should focus on improving WordPress instead of messing with trivial matters. ⊗

So I was reading Robert Scoble’s post about Zoomr and I came across a comment by Ben Metcalfe. I had to let out a muffled laugh, but not because Metcalfe’s comment was particularly funny. I haven’t been able to take anything Metcalfe says seriously ever since his entertaining confrontation with Mena Trott a few years ago. ⊗
