The WordPress Trac discussion regarding Browse Happy has got to be the second most pointless discussion I’ve seen in a while (the dual licensing of the Linux kernel on the lkml takes the title as the most pointless discussion). Create a plugin to prevent Browse Happy from appearing. There. Done. WordPress developers should focus on improving WordPress instead of messing with trivial matters.
I have new respect for Mandriva.

Jonathan Schwartz, Sun Microsystems’ CEO and President, says that, “Companies compete, communities simply fracture.” What exactly does “communities simply fracture” mean? Schwartz seems to be taking a shot at the Linux community, one Sun is desperately trying to emulate with OpenSolaris.

So I was reading Robert Scoble’s post about Zoomr and I came across a comment by Ben Metcalfe. I had to let out a muffled laugh, but not because Metcalfe’s comment was particularly funny. I haven’t been able to take anything Metcalfe says seriously ever since his entertaining confrontation with Mena Trott a few years ago.
